Tasting Notes
Our 2022 Snake Oil is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and selected from premier cabernet blocks on the property. This wine beautifully expresses fruit and terroir with notes of dark plum, cedar, tobacco spice, and a hint of fresh mint. Prevalent tannins lead the palate but are balanced by big cassis and dark chocolate flavors. Snake Oil is a deep and full-bodied wine with rich complexity that allows the potential to age for many years.

The historic Priest Ranch is now part of the Somerston Estate, a significant property totaling 1,682 acres, with 230 acres planted to hillside vineyards. Dramatic elevations of the vineyards define and distinguish the estate, ranging from 800 ft to 1,615 ft above sea level.
