December 2023 Member’s Newsletter

As we wrap up one of our latest harvest seasons to date, we are delighted to let you know that all the fruit for the 2023 vintage is now in the hands of our extraordinary winemaking team. After patiently waiting for Mother Nature to work her magic and perfectly ripen the fruit, our winemaking team is thrilled with the quality and looks forward to presenting these wines to our members in the future.

As you may already know, production has been limited over the past few years due to fires, droughts, and new plantings. However, we are thrilled to bring out some favorite wines from our library and release some smaller new productions – exclusively for you. Below, we have featured a few of our favorites, but if you see something you didn’t receive are curious to try them, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Priest Ranch 2019 Brut Rosé | NEW RELEASE |  The 2019 vintage is 100% Syrah. With the perfect balance of acidity with hints of strawberry and raspberry on the palate, this wine is a holiday staple. Bursting with flavor, we recommend serving this alongside your favorite brie on a buttered crostini or enjoying on its own for holiday cheers.

Priest Ranch 2018 Snake Oil | LIBRARY RELEASE |   The 2018 Snake Oil has a beautiful deep and rich ruby color. On the nose, there are pleasant complex aromas of earth and spice with notes of warm chocolate mocha. Hints of blueberry, black cherries, and berry cobbler immediately scream from the glass. This wine has muscular tannins that grip at the beginning and linger to a beautiful silky long finish. Although graceful now, you can cellar for 10 to 15 years.

Priest Ranch 2016 Malbec  | LIBRARY RELEASE |   The Block 81 Malbec is a dark-colored, medium-bodied wine with well-rounded tannins. This wine starts with spicy notes of vanilla and black pepper before hints of dark berries, plum, and figs fill your palate. You can also detect notes of coffee and molasses on the flavorful finish.

We appreciate your continued support as a member of The Circle and look forward to sharing more memorable moments with you in the year to come!
