Get ready to fill your home with the irresistible aromas of our KPR Italian Beef Dry Rub while it imparts savory flavors to your Prime Rib!

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 lb Beef prime rib roast (boneless, trimmed, cleaned, & tied)
  • KPR Italian Beef Rub
  • Priest Ranch Olive Oil

Directions

  • Set the oven to 400°F
  • Drizzle oil over the prime rib and rub it lightly to coat
  • Rub with spice rub and place in a roasting pan
  • Place roast in the oven and cook for 20 minutes, until browned
  • Reduce the oven temperature to 275°F and continue cooking, basting occasionally, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the meat registers 120°F (for medium-rare)
  • Remove from oven and loosely tent with aluminum foil
  • Let rest for 20-30 minutes before carving
