A big and bold wine with a lavish nose of dark plum, blackberry, and wild herbs. Full-bodied richness and silky tannins are layered with notes of cranberry, cherry, and dark chocolate with a youthful acidity and a long finish. This is a classic wine with wide window of drinkability over the next ten to fifteen years.

The historic Priest Ranch is now part of the Somerston Estate, a significant property totaling 1,682 acres, with 230 acres planted into hillside vineyards. The vineyards’ dramatic elevations define and distinguish the estate, ranging from 800 ft to 1,615 ft above sea level.
