Production Notes

The Priest Ranch Rosé begins with a whole cluster press of Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley.  We harvest the grapes exclusively for this wine to achieve the perfect level of alcohol; acidity is high and color.  Then, the wine was aged for seven months in 100% stainless steel tanks.

Vineyard Notes

The historic Priest Ranch is now part of the Somerston Estate, a significant property totaling 1,682 acres, with 230 acres planted to hillside vineyards. Dramatic elevations of the vineyards define and distinguish the estate, ranging from 800 ft to 1,615 ft above sea level.
